The Devils of Manchester is an online football site that was set up nearing the end of the 2010/2011 season, just as we clinched the record-breaking and truly monumental 19th title. Now into our second year of publishing, it’s become obvious that writing about the highs and writing about the lows are two totally different experiences – but it’s enjoyable nonetheless. A new season brings new players, new teams, and a large amount of new things to talk about.
The aim of the site is to simply provide all the latest news and opinion from Old Trafford, through our team of passionate writers. The site is based around producing high-quality and interesting opinion pieces, but even the regular news articles offer a point-of-view that makes them unique to the hunders of other articles flying about. The site aims to be optimistic, but when a reality-check is required we’re certainly not afraid to do so. No matter what the situation, there’s always something interesting and worthwhile to say.
We publish a wide array of articles; from breaking news and match reports, to editorial and opinion pieces. In early 2012, the website was partnered with the renowned marketing company Football Media who specialise in the development of football-based sites and have provided us with numerous amounts of support.
